Krissy Feniak Bio

 Krissy is a Country Music Singer / Songwriter from Alberta Canada.
Growing up in a small Alberta Oil Town was perfect for Krissy, "I love my Town so much, the support of my Family, Friends and the entire Community is amazing, I honestly can't think of a better place to grow up.  Her down-home roots and passion for her family and community shows in her music

Recently Krissy was nominated for the 2017 Edmonton Music Awards Rising Star Award and chosen as a contender for the 2016 & 2017 Female Artist of the Year and Fans Choice by the Alberta Country Music Association.   

She has performed at venues such as The Somewhere in Alberta Showcase in London Ontario and The Diamonds in the Rough Showcase in Halifax and Saskatoon during the Canadian Country Music Awards. She has also performed at the Alberta Country Music Awards All Star Jam, Big Valley Jamboree, Cowboys Dance Hall, K-Days, The Starlight Room, Edmonton Festival of Trees and many other events around Alberta.  

Songwriting has become a passion for Krissy!  Recently working with writers such as Ralph Murphy, Beamer Wigley, Dayna Blayone, Olivia Wik and many more.  She is looking forward to her first trip to Nashville in March where she will be writing with several well known writers.  Krissy co-wrote the track "Always been you" on her recent CD, with Producer and CCMA Guitar Player of the Year (Brett Kissel Band) Matty Mckay. A song written about their Mothers.

Krissy's new single "Mess with me" will be available in March

 Her distinctive mix of Old Fashioned and Modern Country Music make her a crowd favourite!  She has been called a mix between Loretta Lynn and Miranda Lambert
