BIO - Krissy Feniak

Award winning Country Singer / Songwriter Krissy Feniak has a style all her own. With her soulful bluesy sound and her sassy lyrics this 19 year old artist has already been making waves in the Country Music industry for the past 6 years. 

Winner of the Country Music Alberta 2020 Rising Star Award, the 2018 North American Country Music Associations International Artist, Entertainer and Songwriter of the Year in Pigeon Forge, TN , the Country Music Alberta 2018 Horizon Award as well as a nominee for the Female Artist of the year in 2018, 2019 and 2020. 

Krissy has performed at Venues such as The Bluebird Cafe (Nashville, TN), The Commodore Room (Nashville, TN), The Alberta Country Music Awards Show, The Calgary Stampede and many others in addition to lending her talents to various charities and organizations. 

Her newest single “Break Up Break Down” is set to be released on October 1st, 2021. 

“This song is about an ex who did the classic “I miss you” and “I’m so sorry”, and my personal favourite “I’ve really changed this time”.  Too little too late, I had already shed all the tears I had for this boy and moved on. Of course I had to spill the ear to my co-writer TJ Simpson the next day and the song just seemed to write itself!” 

Break up Break down marks Krissy’s 6th release to Country Radio and all platforms.Working closely with her team, Juno Award Winning Producer Matty McKay (Brett Kissel Band), Vocal Coach Tamara Beatty (The Voice, The Masked Singer) and Jordyn Elliott (J Elliott Management, Megan Patrick Manager) has helped Krissy to craft a distinct sound and style all her own. 

Throughout the past year, Krissy has kept herself busy. Switching gears from gigs and travel to working on her writing, voice, and music business knowledge. Completing the Canadas Music Incubator Artist Program gave Krissy knowledge of all things music. The Nashville Songwriters Association RISE Programs with Liz Rose, Rhett Akins, Sarah Buxton and Eric Paslay have helped her to grow as a writer and gain knowledge and insight from some of Country Musics most successful writers. Working closely with Nashville writer Bonnie Baker (Hunter Hayes, Reba) has given Krissy a mentor and connection to the Nashville Songwriting Scene.
